Second of three original watercolors based on a location in north-western Alabama called Dismals Canyon.

“The gorge is celebrated for its unique relic insect species, the dismalite, which in its larva stage glows a pale blue. After sunset the canyon walls appear as star clustered skies, lit up by these remarkable insects.”

This limited 1st Edition Giclee is printed beautifully on textured Hahnemühle paper. The original work measures 9” x 11” and belongs to a private collector.
