Giclee Print

One of four original watercolors in a series called Sandrock. The works derive inspiration from a sandstone outcrop within the Piedmont Plateau. The series represents the diurnal cycles of night and day, but also imagines the immense geologic time during which sediment was deposited in a shallow sea, formed into rock, and eroded - producing the remarkable cliffs, vistas, caves, and varieties of unique flora we enjoy at such places today.

This Limited Edition Giclee is printed beautifully on textured Hahnemühle paper. The original work measures 7.5” x 9.5” and belongs to a private collector.
